Sadiya, Assam: In a continued crackdown on the illegal drug trade, Sadiya Police successfully apprehended two notorious drug peddlers during a recent operation.
The operation was carried out under the leadership of the In-Charge of CDSP, Sadiya, along with the Officer-in-Charge of Sadiya Police Station. During the raid, officials recovered one soap box containing approximately 11 grams of suspected heroin from the accused.
Police officials stated that this operation is part of their ongoing efforts to curb the menace of drug trafficking in the region. Further investigation is underway to trace the supply network linked with the arrested individuals.
Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to fighting the drug menace and urged citizens to cooperate by sharing information that can help in eradicating narcotics from the community.
