Lakhimpur Police Nab Man in Fake Gold Transaction Case, Cash and Assets Recovered

Lakhimpur Police have arrested a man in connection with a fake gold transaction worth ₹2 lakh. Acting on a complaint, a joint team from Laluk Police Station and Harmoti Outpost apprehended the accused, identified as Mofazul Islam of Laluk.

During the operation, police recovered ₹71,000 in cash, a motorcycle, and four mobile phones from his possession. Authorities confirmed that further legal action has already been initiated against the accused.

Police urged the public to remain vigilant against fraudulent schemes and assured strict measures against such illegal activities in the district.
