Hamren, Assam – Strengthening healthcare infrastructure in Assam, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the West Karbi Anglong District Hospital, a 100-bed facility at Hamren, on 28 September 2025. The hospital was constructed under the National Health Mission with an investment of approximately ₹30 crore.
The inauguration marks a significant step in improving medical services for the district’s residents. Following the ceremony, the Chief Minister paid tribute to Assam’s beloved artist Zubeen Garg and participated in a tree-planting drive on the hospital campus.
