Guwahati, October 21: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to social media platform X on Monday to announce that a group of illegal infiltrators attempting to enter the state had been successfully pushed back by security forces.

In his post, the Chief Minister drew a sharp comparison between the incident and the world’s famous landmarks, stating, “There are 7 wonders of the world and the 8th wonder is illegal infiltrators trying to sneak into Assam and capture our lands.”

He further added, “However, the good news is that we won’t let these wonders wander around here in Assam anymore. 8 Alices in the Wonderland PUSHED BACK. Bye 👋🏼”

The post, laced with sarcasm and firm political undertones, highlights the state government’s continued commitment to curbing illegal infiltration and safeguarding Assam’s borders.

The Chief Minister’s statement underscores the state’s zero-tolerance approach toward infiltration, which has long been a sensitive and politically significant issue in Assam. Security forces have been maintaining strict vigil along the border areas to prevent illegal entry and land encroachment.

This latest action reflects the government’s firm stance on maintaining territorial integrity and protecting the rights of indigenous communities in the state.
