Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the revered Maa Kamakhya Temple atop Nilachal Hills on Sunday, accompanied by his family. Sharing moments from the spiritual visit on the X platform, CM Sarma wrote, “জয় মা কামাখ্যা 🙏🏽 माँ की कृपा हम सबके परिवारों पर सदा बनी रहे।”
His post was marked with hashtags #MaaKamakhya, #Ambubachi, and #Nilachal, reflecting his deep reverence for the Goddess. The visit comes shortly after the conclusion of the Ambubachi Mela, a significant spiritual gathering that draws lakhs of devotees each year.
