Baksa, July 25: In a major breakthrough, Baksa Police have arrested 14 individuals in connection with a recent highway dacoity case. The arrests were made by Barama Police Station within just seven days of the incident, demonstrating swift action and effective investigation.

According to a post made by Baksa Police on X (formerly Twitter), a total of 107 cartons of looted paan masala were recovered from the accused. The items were stolen during a planned dacoity operation along a highway in the district.

The official post by Baksa Police stated:

“Barama PS has arrested 14 persons and recovered 107 cartons of looted paan masala in a highway dacoity case within 7 days. Search is on to arrest other dacoits.”
