The Bhagadatta Flyover II is expected to significantly ease vehicular movement and reduce traffic congestion in the capital region, especially during peak hours. The rapid completion of the project is being seen as a major infrastructural achievement for the state government and a step forward in enhancing urban connectivity.
Residents of Guwahati have welcomed the news, with many expressing optimism that the new flyover will streamline daily commutes and support the city’s growing transportation needs.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place this evening, and is expected to be attended by senior government officials, local dignitaries, and citizens.
This development adds to a series of ongoing infrastructure projects undertaken by the Assam Government in recent years to modernize the capital’s road network and ease urban congestion.
