Udalguri, August 18: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) president and Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief Pramod Boro on Sunday said that the people of Bhergaon and Udalguri have firmly stood with UPPL, expressing confidence of a decisive victory in the upcoming BTR elections.
Sharing the highlights of the rally on X, Boro wrote, “Bhergaon stands United, Bhergaon stands with UPPL! Overwhelmed by the genuine outpouring of love & support from the people of Udalguri, as thousands joined us at UPPL’s ‘Rally for Harmonious BTR’ in Bar-Tangla. With the blessings of the People, UPPL is destined to win a thumping victory in the upcoming BTR Elections.”
The rally, held under the banner “Rally for Harmonious BTR”, witnessed participation from thousands of supporters across the region. Boro expressed gratitude towards the people, noting their unity and blessings as a strong sign of UPPL’s growing influence.
The UPPL, which leads the Bodoland Territorial Council in alliance with the BJP, has been gearing up for the upcoming BTR polls, projecting development, peace, and harmony as its key agenda.
Boro reiterated that with the overwhelming support of the people, the UPPL is confident of securing a “thumping victory” in the elections.
