Guwahati, August 20 — A team from Noonmati Police Station under the City Guwahati Police Department (CGPD) has successfully traced and recovered a missing minor girl from 3 No. Salbari, officials said on Wednesday.
According to Guwahati Police, the girl had been missing since August 11, 2025. Following sustained efforts, the Noonmati PS team located her and ensured all necessary legal and medical procedures were followed.
The child underwent a medical examination, and her statement was recorded before the Hon’ble Court. Thereafter, she was safely handed over to her legal guardian, the police confirmed.
Authorities have not disclosed further details, citing the sensitivity of the case and the need to protect the identity of the minor.
