Bhergaon, August 14: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) President and Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro reaffirmed the party’s vision for a “United Bodoland” during a meeting with party workers in Bhergaon on Wednesday.
In a post on the social media platform X, Boro described the gathering as “very productive,” highlighting that discussions focused on key electoral strategies for the upcoming BTR elections.
“UPPL is the party of peace, unity and progress, and there is no doubt that the people of BTR will shower their blessings on us once again,” Boro wrote.
The meeting was attended by dedicated party workers, underscoring UPPL’s grassroots mobilisation efforts as the election season approaches. Boro’s emphasis on unity comes at a time when political activities in the region are gaining momentum, with various parties outlining their visions for the future of the Bodoland Territorial Region.
