Tinsukia, December 17: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Upper Assam, State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu held a strategic meeting in Tinsukia to streamline preparations. The meeting focused on ensuring the grand success of the Prime Minister’s scheduled programs in the neighboring Dibrugarh district.

Key Highlights of the Meeting:

Call for Active Cooperation: Minister Pegu met with the office bearers and workers of three Mandal Committees under the Tinsukia Assembly Constituency. He urged the party karyakartas (workers) to provide their full and active cooperation to ensure the smooth execution of the PM’s visit.

High-Level Presence: The interaction session was also attended by State Minister Prasanta Phukan and Tinsukia MLA Sanjay Kishan, highlighting the significance of the organizational buildup.

Organizational Mobilization: The leaders discussed mobilizing supporters and the general public from Tinsukia to participate in the upcoming events in Dibrugarh, emphasizing the historical importance of the Prime Minister’s visit to the region.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Assam on December 20-21. His itinerary includes the foundation stone laying ceremony for a massive ₹12,000 crore fertilizer plant in Namrup, along with a mega public rally in Dibrugarh.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ranoj Pegu stated that the dedication of the party workers is crucial for the success of these high-profile programs, which are expected to bring a major boost to the industrial and social landscape of Upper Assam.
