Ranoj Pegu Visits Ampri Tribal Higher Secondary School, Assures Infrastructure Development and Additional Teachers

Dimoria, Assam – Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu visited the Ampri Tribal Higher Secondary School located in the interior Ampri area near the Meghalaya border under the Dimoria constituency. The visit took place during his journey to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” programme.

The minister inspected the facilities and infrastructure of the school, which was established in 1988 and serves students from nearby tribal and rural communities. During his visit, Pegu interacted with teachers and students and assessed the needs of the institution.

He announced that the state government will take steps to improve the school’s infrastructure and appoint additional teachers to strengthen the academic environment. His assurance aims to enhance the quality of education and provide better learning opportunities for students in remote areas.

Pegu emphasized the government’s commitment to uplifting the education system in interior and border regions, ensuring that every student has access to proper educational resources and facilities.
