In a swift and well-coordinated midnight action, Assam authorities pushed back six Bangladeshi nationals and ten Rohingyas through Gate 39 along the international border. The operation took place at 00:30 hours and was confirmed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on X.

Sharing the update, the Chief Minister described the operation as “smooth,” comparing its precision to a “Mission Impossible scene.” He added that Assam’s borders remain secure and that security personnel continue to maintain strict vigilance.

The pushback reflects Assam’s ongoing efforts to curb illegal infiltration and strengthen border security. Officials ensured that the entire operation was carried out without incident, aligning with the Chief Minister’s remark that “no multiverse anomaly” was detected.
