Guwahati, August 18: An East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Basistha Police Station has recovered a stolen blue Honda Activa (registration AS01FT2684) from the Basistha area, Guwahati Police said on Monday.
According to the police, the two-wheeler had been reported stolen earlier from ASEB Colony, Six Mile. Officials added that due process is underway to hand the vehicle over to its rightful owner.
Guwahati Police shared the update on X, noting the swift action by the Basistha PS team in tracing the scooter and initiating legal formalities. The recovery adds to ongoing efforts to curb vehicle thefts across the city.
