Naharkatia, Assam – Taranga Gogoi, MLA of Naharkatia and President of the Assam Cricket Association, visited the ongoing sports infrastructure project at Nagaon Tinali in the Naharkatia Legislative Assembly Constituency. The project, which aims to provide world-class facilities for athletes and the public, includes an international-standard football ground, an athletic track, and a swimming pool.
During the visit, Gogoi reviewed the progress of construction works alongside the contractor and departmental engineers. He expressed satisfaction with the current pace of development and highlighted that “adequate plans have been put in place to complete the project by December and dedicate it to the public.”
The project is expected to significantly boost sports facilities in the region, providing modern amenities for training, competitions, and community events.
