Acting swiftly, the investigation team traced and apprehended the accused, identified as Charles Ahmed (23), also known as Charlee, a resident of Anupam Nagar, Hatigaon.<\/p>\n<p>During the operation, police recovered the snatched Samsung mobile phone along with a TVS Ntorq 125 scooter (AS01FT7719), a helmet, jeans, and a pair of slippers used during the crime.<\/p>\n<p>Officials confirmed that legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused.<\/p>\n<p>The Guwahati Police reiterated their commitment to ensuring safety and quick response in cases of street crimes across the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guwahati, August 30: The East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Basistha Police Station has cracked a mobile snatching case within 24 hours of the incident.
