Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Sarma paid a heartfelt tribute, describing Zubeen as one of Assam\u2019s \u201cfavourite sons\u201d whose loss has left the state in profound sorrow.<\/p>\n
In his message, the Chief Minister wrote, \u201cToday Assam lost one of its favourite sons. I am in a loss of words to describe what Zubeen meant for Assam. He has gone too early, this was not an age to go.\u201d<\/p>\n
