The institutions will come up in Hajo, Majuli, and Tingkhang with a total investment of \u20b9150 crore.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing the development on X, the Chief Minister wrote, \u201cGreat news for Assam&#8217;s youths! We have approved 3 more Polytechnic colleges in Hajo, Majuli and Tingkhang at a cost of \u20b9150cr. These polytechnics will offer more opportunities to our younger ones as they imbibe vocational and technical skills in them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new colleges aim to create more opportunities for students to gain practical, industry-ready skills. The government expects these institutes to play a key role in strengthening Assam\u2019s technical workforce and supporting local industries.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative aligns with the state\u2019s broader vision to expand access to quality education and empower youth through vocational training.
