According to Manipur Police, miscreants set fire to a few houses during the previous night, prompting authorities to take immediate preventive action.<\/p>\n
Police said prohibitory orders, including the imposition of curfew, have been put in place and sufficient security personnel deployed to prevent any further escalation. The situation, though sensitive, is reported to be largely under control.<\/p>\n
To strengthen coordination among security agencies, a Joint Control Room has been set up at Litan Police Station. Senior police officers have also been deployed in the area and are closely monitoring developments on the ground.<\/p>\n
