The event witnessed a significant turnout, with an estimated crowd of around 15,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the rally as part of his campaign in the 70th Biswanath Assembly constituency. He is campaigning in support of Tiharu Gaur, the joint candidate of the JMM and Jai Bharat Party.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the gathering, Soren emphasized the ongoing struggle of marginalized communities. He stated that Adivasis (tribals), Dalits, and backward classes are fighting for justice, while alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is responsible for atrocities against these groups.<\/p>\n<p>Focusing on the condition of tea garden workers in Assam, Soren raised concerns over their wages and living standards. He said that workers should be paid at least Rs 500 per day, highlighting that the state\u2019s economy heavily depends on tea gardens. However, he pointed out that workers are currently earning only Rs 250 to Rs 300 daily, which he described as insufficient for basic survival.<\/p>\n<p>Soren also shared his personal experience of visiting a tea garden worker\u2019s home, where he observed poor living conditions.
