The team raided a suspected hideout at Latakata and apprehended the accused, identified as Lamneao Kipgen (30), a resident of Pilingkata in Meghalaya.<\/p>\n<p>During the search, police recovered one soap box and 50 vials containing heroin, weighing a total of 81 grams. Officials said the packaging method indicates the drugs were likely meant for local distribution, suggesting the presence of a retail-level network operating in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The seized contraband has been taken into custody as evidence, and legal action has been initiated under relevant provisions of the law.
