The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is set to introduce its first-ever Bharat Gaurav tourist train to Nepal, offering passengers a specially curated spiritual and sightseeing tour across the neighbouring country.<\/p>\n
Named the \u201cPashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra,\u201d the tourist train will depart from Indore on June 12. It will become the first Bharat Gaurav train service to operate beyond Indian territory. Unlike regular train services, the package has been designed as a complete guided tourism experience that includes rail travel, accommodation, meals, and sightseeing.<\/p>\n
The 10-day and nine-night journey will cover several major destinations in Nepal, including Kathmandu, Pashupatinath Temple, Pokhara, Chitwan National Park, and Manakamana Temple. The package will also feature a ropeway ride to Manakamana Temple and a jeep safari at Chitwan National Park.<\/p>\n
Passengers will be able to board the train from several stations across Madhya Pradesh, including Indore, Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Bhopal, Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, and Satna.<\/p>\n
The deluxe AC tourist train will consist of 14 coaches offering First AC, Second AC, and Third AC accommodation options. Two restaurant coaches have also been arranged to provide onboard dining facilities during the trip.<\/p>\n
IRCTC has divided the package into three fare categories. The Third AC Comfort package is priced at Rs 62,710 per person, while the Second AC Deluxe package costs Rs 76,550. The First AC Superior package has been priced at Rs 90,400 per person.<\/p>\n
The tour package includes train travel, hotel accommodation in three-star hotels, vegetarian meals, local sightseeing through AC buses, travel insurance, tour escorts, housekeeping, and security services.<\/p>\n
