The case has sparked public attention after details emerged through local media reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the allegations, the woman came into contact with the accused around two-and-a-half years ago. She claims the man introduced himself as a Hindu and developed a romantic relationship with her over phone conversations. During the relationship, the accused allegedly recorded private and intimate video calls without her consent and later used them to blackmail her.<\/p>\n<p>The woman alleges that after discovering the man&#8217;s actual identity, she attempted to distance herself from the relationship. However, she claims the accused continued to pressure and threaten her using the recorded material. She further alleged that she was eventually taken to the accused&#8217;s residence, converted from Hinduism to Islam, and married. According to her statement, she was given the name &#8220;Khadija Begum&#8221; following the conversion.<\/p>\n<p>The woman has also accused the accused&#8217;s family members of mental and physical harassment. She subsequently filed a First Information Report (FIR) naming five individuals, including the accused and members of his family. The FIR reportedly alleges harassment, intimidation, and involvement in the circumstances that led to her abandonment.<\/p>\n<p>Local reports indicate that a case has been registered by Bilasipara Police against the five accused persons. However, the woman has alleged that no significant action has been taken so far and that the main accused remains at large.<\/p>\n<p>Police authorities have not yet issued a detailed public statement regarding the allegations.
