The arrests led to the recovery of a stolen laptop and a mobile phone, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The accused have been identified as Nipu Phangso (27), alias Tiku, a resident of Patorkuchi; Suman Basumatary (24), alias Samba, from Udalguri; and Md Mohibul Hoque (22), a resident of Fakirganj.<\/p>\n<p>According to Guwahati Police, the Basistha Police Station team apprehended the three suspects as part of an investigation into theft-related activities in the area. During the operation, officers recovered one HCL laptop and one mobile phone from their possession, both believed to be stolen property.<\/p>\n<p>The recovered items have been seized as evidence, and the accused have been taken into custody for further investigation. Police are also examining whether the trio was involved in other theft cases reported in and around Guwahati.<\/p>\n<p>Legal action has been initiated against the accused under the relevant provisions of law.
