The surgery was performed on the night of October 23 and was led by Dr. Senthil Kumar, according to media reports. The complex procedure required the coordinated efforts of doctors, specialists and allied clinical teams.<\/p>\n<p>The Health Minister credited Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma\u2019s leadership and said the state government had begun taking strategic steps in 2025 to establish advanced transplant infrastructure in Assam.
