Nalbari: Assam Minister and senior BJP leader Jayanta Malla Baruah on Friday took part in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026, a cadre training programme organised by the BJP’s Ghograpar Mandal at PM SHRI Ghograpar Higher Secondary School in Nalbari district.

Addressing party workers, Baruah delivered a session on “Bharatiya Janata Partyr Itihas aru Bikash” (History and Development of the Bharatiya Janata Party), highlighting the evolution of the party, its ideological principles and organisational expansion over the years. The programme is part of the BJP’s statewide training campaign aimed at strengthening grassroots leadership and equipping karyakartas with organisational knowledge.

The event was attended by Ghograpar Mandal President Manoj Deka, Mandal Coordinator Hareshwar Das, office-bearers and a large number of BJP karyakartas.

During the interaction, Baruah emphasised the role of disciplined and well-trained party workers in strengthening the organisation at the booth and mandal levels. He encouraged participants to remain committed to the party’s ideology and continue working closely with the people at the grassroots.

The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026 has been underway across Assam since mid-June, with training programmes being organised at the mandal level before moving to the district-level phase later this month. The campaign aims to provide ideological orientation and organisational training to thousands of BJP workers across the state.
