Lakhimpur: Authorities reportedly demolished 32 business establishments during an eviction operation at Kehutoli Dharmapur near the Ranganadi river on November 5. The drive targeted structures allegedly occupying government land under Bihpuria Revenue Circle.
Excavators were deployed early in the morning to clear the commercial premises. According to reports, several occupants had been conducting business at the site for an extended period.
The demolition reportedly followed repeated warnings and eviction notices. Authorities proceeded with the clearance after the occupants failed to vacate the premises.
The district administration and revenue circle authorities jointly conducted the operation, with police and paramilitary personnel deployed to maintain law and order.
