Guwahati: Young designers and creative minds across India have been given an opportunity to help shape the visual identity of MY Bharat Youth Hostels, with Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu urging registered MY Bharat users to participate in a logo design competition.
Sharing the initiative on social media, Pegu said the competition provides participants an opportunity to create a distinctive identity for youth hostels envisioned as spaces for India’s young population.
The contest is seeking an original logo design that reflects the identity and purpose of MY Bharat Youth Hostels. Participants have been encouraged to use their creativity to develop a design that can represent these youth-oriented spaces.
Cash Prizes for Top Entries
According to the promotional material shared along with the announcement, the competition offers cash prizes to the top three entries:
- First Prize: ₹5,000
- Second Prize: ₹3,000
- Third Prize: ₹2,000

MY Bharat Youth Hostels to Get a Distinct Identity
The competition is aimed at creating a common visual identity for MY Bharat Youth Hostels as they evolve into youth-oriented spaces.
MY Bharat, officially known as Mera Yuva Bharat, is an initiative under the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The platform focuses on youth participation through volunteering, experiential learning, leadership and other opportunities.
The logo competition is therefore expected to give young participants an opportunity to contribute creatively to the branding of these spaces.
