New Delhi: Commercial fuel users and transport operators are set to benefit after state-owned and private oil companies announced significant reductions in the prices of commercial LPG, aviation turbine fuel (ATF), petrol and diesel, following a decline in international crude oil prices.

The latest revision comes as global crude markets have softened due to easing geopolitical tensions in West Asia. As part of the price cut, the cost of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by around ₹180, bringing its base price in New Delhi down to ₹2,930. Meanwhile, the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) has also been lowered by ₹5 per litre, offering financial relief to airlines. The price of domestic LPG cylinders for household consumers remains unchanged.

Private fuel retailer Nayara Energy has also reduced retail fuel prices by rolling back the emergency hikes introduced during the supply disruptions in March. The company has cut petrol prices by ₹5 per litre and diesel prices by ₹3 per litre across its network of more than 7,000 fuel stations nationwide.

The revised fuel prices are expected to ease operating costs for sectors such as transportation, logistics, hospitality and commercial establishments, while also providing some relief to daily commuters and businesses dependent on fuel-intensive operations.
