Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has congratulated Dibrugarh Hanumanbax Surajmall Kanoi College for being selected for the prestigious Best NCC Institution Award 2025–26 by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) North Eastern Region Directorate.
Sharing the achievement on X, the minister praised the college for its excellence in cadet performance, leadership and social commitment. He described the recognition as a testament to the institution’s consistent contribution towards discipline, service and youth development.
Pegu also extended his congratulations to the cadets, faculty members and the entire NCC unit of the college for the accomplishment.
The award by the NCC NER Directorate recognises institutions that demonstrate exceptional performance in NCC activities, leadership training, community service and overall cadet development.
DHSK College, one of the prominent educational institutions in Upper Assam, has been actively involved in NCC programmes and youth engagement initiatives over the years.
