Kiphire, October 21: Eight aspiring candidates from Nagaland have qualified for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) under the SSC Constable (General Duty) Recruitment 2026–27 initiative following pre-recruitment guidance and training provided by Assam Rifles in Kiphire district.
The training programme covered 10 candidates, of whom seven male candidates and one female candidate successfully qualified for the physical test. Assam Rifles is continuing physical training sessions to improve their fitness, endurance and preparedness for the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The initiative aims to support local youth by providing guidance, motivation and physical preparation to help them pursue careers in the security forces. Through such programmes, Assam Rifles seeks to encourage young people in remote areas to explore employment opportunities in uniformed services.
The continued training is expected to help the qualified candidates prepare for the challenges of the recruitment process. Their progress also highlights the importance of pre-recruitment assistance in helping aspiring candidates meet the physical requirements of government service.
Assam Rifles has reiterated its commitment to youth development and community engagement through initiatives focused on career guidance, physical fitness and discipline.
