In a prompt rescue operation, Assam Rifles successfully recovered a civilian vehicle that had fallen into a ditch along National Highway-2 near Maram Ramlong in Senapati district of Manipur.
According to a post shared by Assam Rifles on X, the incident took place on May 5, 2026. Acting swiftly after receiving information about the accident, Assam Rifles personnel immediately rushed to the spot and launched a coordinated recovery operation.
Officials stated that the team efficiently carried out the rescue mission and safely retrieved the vehicle from the ditch without causing any further damage. Importantly, no civilian injuries were reported in the incident.
