The fast-track court on Monday concluded the hearing on the bail application of Shekharjyoti Goswami, one of the accused in the Zubeen Garg death case. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court reserved its order and is scheduled to pronounce its decision on May 28, 2026.
Earlier, the court had rejected the bail petitions of co-accused Shyamkanu Mahanta and Siddharth Sharma in connection with the same case.
Speaking to the media, advocate Pradipta Talukdar stated that May 26 will be a significant day in the proceedings, as the court is expected to frame charges against the accused on that date. The case has continued to draw considerable public attention as the legal process moves forward.
