The oil industry in Assam has assured the public that the supply of essential petroleum products, including petrol, diesel, and LPG, remains normal and uninterrupted across the state.
According to the State Level Coordinator for the Oil Industry in Assam and Executive Director & State Head of the Indian Oil AOD State Office in Guwahati, Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies such as Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited are maintaining adequate fuel stocks at all supply points across the region.
Officials stated that the fuel supply network, including terminals, depots, and retail outlets, is functioning smoothly without any disruption. Continuous monitoring of stock levels and regular replenishment activities are being carried out to ensure uninterrupted availability of fuel throughout the state.
The statement also noted that LPG distribution to domestic consumers is being given priority and the supply situation remains stable across Assam. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure timely delivery to consumers in all areas.
The oil industry is reportedly maintaining close coordination on transportation, stock movement, and retail operations to avoid any supply-related issues. Citizens have been urged to continue normal purchasing behaviour and avoid panic buying or hoarding of fuel products.
Consumers were also advised to rely only on official updates issued by Oil Marketing Companies for accurate information regarding fuel availability and distribution.
