Guwahati: A police constable today died due to an alleged incorrect treatment at Gate Hospital located at Noomati in the city on Wednesday 5th of December 2018.
The deceased constable named Babul Ali halied from Mandakata , Assam
The deceased was allegedly kept under ventilation and his family was only informed of his death a day after his death. His family members also said that the hospital authority did not provide proper treatment to Ali who was suffering from a non-lethal disease — piles– for the last few days.
The deceased was earlier admitted to the GMCH for treatment, but the family was asked to shift to a different hospital.
Later, he was admitted to the Gate Hospital, located at Noonmati Mathghoria in the city, for better treatment.
An FIR has been lodged at the Noonmati Police Station against the hospital authority. The family members demand to closed the hospital immediately.
