Mumbai: Assam’s Anurag Saikia is nominated for the Jio Filmfare Awards (Marathi) 2018 for best background score category for the film Manjha. Manjha is a Marathi language film, directed by Jatin Wagle, which released in 2017.
The award ceremony will be held on September 27.
Assam’s Anurag Saikia is an Indian film score composer, music director and instrumentalist from Northeast of India. He is one of the youngest composers to be awarded “Rajat Kamal” National Award for Best Non-Feature Film Music Direction for the film Yugadrashta, directed by Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta.
