The Assam Rifles once again showcased its humanitarian spirit by extending timely medical assistance to a critical patient in Nagaland’s Kiphire district. According to a post shared by the force on X, Assam Rifles personnel voluntarily donated blood on April 22 after receiving information about an emergency pregnancy case at the District Hospital in Kiphire.

Officials stated that the expectant mother urgently required a blood transfusion to stabilise her condition. Responding immediately to the call for help, Assam Rifles personnel rushed to the hospital and donated blood without delay.

The prompt action by the security personnel reportedly helped doctors stabilise the woman’s condition and ensured the safety of both the mother and the newborn child. Hospital authorities appreciated the quick response and described the act as a life-saving intervention during a critical moment.

Medical staff at the hospital also praised the selfless contribution of the Assam Rifles personnel and acknowledged their continued support towards public welfare activities in remote areas.
