Gangtok: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated first airport of the hill state Sikkim at Pakyong today. Modi inaugurated the new airport in the morning today.

Pakyong Airport

Spread across 201 acres, the Pakyong airport has been built approximately 2 kilometres above the Pakyong village in Sikkim. With its inauguration, the northeastern state has finally been entered India’s aviation map.
